Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in our team, based in Logansport, Indiana. This role functions in the industry of Accounting and Finance. You'll be managing a broad range of accounting tasks, with a focus on cost and inventory accounting, fixed assets, P& L, financial planning, and reporting. Responsibilities • Implement and oversee accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Utilize accounting software systems for data management and analysis. • Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. • Manage general ledger entries and month-end closing processes. • Develop and manage budget processes within the organization. • Handle financial reporting duties and present findings to the team. • Maintain records of fixed assets and manage inventory accounting tasks. • Use SAP for various accounting and financial operations. • Ensure all financial operations adhere to established standards and regulations. • Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Controller • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required • Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with Accounting Functions • Demonstrable skills in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in Auditing is a must • Familiarity with Budget Processes is needed • Proficiency in using SAP software is a plus • Knowledge and experience in managing the General Ledger • Experience in Month End Close processes is required • Proven track record in Financial Reporting is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
