Job Opportunity: CCTV Duty Controller – Croydon Shopping Centres

Position: CCTV Duty Controller
Hourly Rate: £15.15
Working Hours: Minimum 42 hours per week, Night Shift (19:00 – 07:00)
Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off

What's Involved:

How do you ensure CCTV systems are monitored effectively and securely? Are you someone who can respond promptly to emergencies, liaising with emergency services and managing critical situations? Are you skilled in managing reporting and paperwork, ensuring clear and thorough communication during handovers? How do you stay on top of contractual agreements, SLAs, and KPIs, ensuring high standards of service delivery? Can you take charge during fire alarm tests and evacuation procedures, ensuring the safety of all in the centre? How do you manage security access, maintain safety standards, and address concerns or requests efficiently?

What We're Looking For:

Do you thrive as part of a team but also enjoy working independently when required? Are you adaptable, with a flexible approach to meet the demands of a dynamic business environment? Do you have experience in retail security or another relevant field, and understand the importance of security systems like CCTV and Access Control? Can you communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, and keep calm in high-pressure situations? Do you have a proven track record of operating CCTV systems, with a valid CCTV License in hand?
