Description We are currently offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Controller based in Washington, District of Columbia. The selected individual will be tasked with assessing the current state of the accounting department and proposing necessary enhancements. Responsibilities: • Evaluate the present state of the accounting department • Propose recommendations for improvements in the accounting department • Oversee accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Manage the use of Accounting Software Systems efficiently • Supervise the General Ledger • Ensure timely Month End Close • Handle Monthly Reporting with precision and timeliness • Monitor and manage customer credit applications efficiently • Maintain precise customer credit records Requirements • Must have proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Ability to manage all Accounting Functions effectively • Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proficiency in conducting Monthly Reporting • Experience with General Ledger management • Ability to handle Month End Close procedures efficiently Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
