Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Controller near Rutland, VT. This role involves a blend of accounting and management tasks, interacting with various software systems, and overseeing a range of accounting functions. Responsibilities: • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate record keeping and financial management • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring all bills are paid and collections from customers are timely • Conduct regular auditing of financial transactions and reports • Manage the month-end close process and maintain the general ledger • Act as a liaison for HR-related tasks, ensuring the right decisions are made in a timely manner • Check cash flow daily, monitoring any exceptions and taking appropriate action • Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Manage budget processes, ensuring financial stability and effectiveness • Address and resolve any accounting-related inquiries and issues.
