Description Tyler Houk (Practice Director) is in search of a Controller to join our Manufacturing team based in Fresno, California. As a Controller, you will be at the forefront of managing accounting functions, implementing ERP systems, and overseeing KPI reporting. You will also play a vital role in liaising with auditors, preparing financial reports, and evaluating operational KPIs. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency • Implement ERP systems and produce necessary outputs and reports for all departments • Analyze discrepancies between budgeted and actual monthly operations, as well as weekly cash flows • Liaise with auditors for the annual audit and ensure compliance with all financial regulations • Create, implement, and monitor financial KPIs, providing regular updates to the board • Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget and CapEx budget, ensuring all financial goals are met • Evaluate operational KPIs to identify areas of improvement and drive business performance • Collaborate with the Assistant Controller for month-end close, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded • Generate financial statements in the required format and account groupings • Manage weekly rolling cash flows to ensure financial stability and growth. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry • Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions • Proven experience with Cost Accounting • Demonstrated skills in Manufacturing Cost Accounting • Proficiency in KPI Reporting • Experience in Month End Close procedures • Expertise in Budgeting and Forecasting For confidential consideration apply to this directly or send Tyler Houk a message on LinkedIn!
