Description Robert Half has partnered with a highly stable and growing Private Equity firm in Dallas, TX in search of a Controller. The Controller will be a key player in our financial activities, including compliance, reporting, and regulatory filings. This opportunity is in the private equity industry and offers an exciting detail-oriented challenge. Note: Client will consider out of town candidates and will offer some relo allowance and/or sign-on bonus (only if the candidate meets all the requirements). Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the private equity firm • Conduct in-depth financial analyses, particularly in relation to portfolio companies • Ensure all annual audits are carried out and uphold GAAP compliance • Take charge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the firm • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders • Use accounting software systems and tools such as Workday or similar ERP tools for efficient financial management • Handle accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) • Participate in auditing processes and ensure all financial reports are accurate and timely • Uphold compliance management across all financial activities • Coordinate the budget processes and ensure financial stability.
