Job Summary:
The Controller – Corporate Accounting & Close is a leadership position responsible for managing the global financial close process, ensuring the integrity of the consolidated financial statements, and overseeing critical areas of accounting operations, including fixed assets, leases, compensation, and intercompany transactions. This role coordinates with regional and legal entity controllers, ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP, and delivers high-quality internal financial reporting, complete with variance analysis and executive-ready commentary. The Controller will also drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and ensure consistency in accounting across global operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the global month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. Own and maintain the consolidated group financial statements, ensuring proper elimination entries and compliance with U.S. GAAP. Coordinate and review trial balances by legal entity in partnership with local finance teams. Oversee the preparation of internal management reporting packages, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts. Ensure timely delivery of accurate and insightful financial data to internal stakeholders including FP&A, Treasury, and executive leadership. Partner with external reporting teams to support SEC filings and investor materials as needed. Oversee completion and review of balance sheet account reconciliations by legal entity, ensuring alignment with internal controls and accounting policies. Own the global intercompany process, including transaction recording, reconciliation, and settlement of intercompany receivables and payables. Manage the creation and maintenance of legal entities in Workday, ensuring accurate financial structure and data consistency. Oversee global consolidation workflows in Workday, ensuring alignment with financial reporting requirements. Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team. Collaborate closely with teams including Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and HR to ensure coordinated financial operations and reporting. Drive process improvement initiatives and support system implementations and upgrades, particularly in Workday and consolidation systems.Key Competencies:

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; Advanced degree or CPA eligibility required 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a corporate controller or senior accounting leadership role at a public company Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with demonstrated expertise in consolidations, intercompany accounting, and financial close Hands-on experience with Workday Financials required; experience managing Workday legal entity structures and consolidations is highly preferred Proven ability to manage and lead global teams in a fast-paced, complex, and matrixed environment Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills High level of integrity, accountability, and business acumenCandidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
