Controller Cost

Are you a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for optimizing costs and driving financial efficiency? As a Cost Controller, you will play a key role in monitoring and analyzing costs to ensure that funds are utilized effectively, within budget, and in alignment with the organization’s financial goals. You will work closely with various departments to track expenses, manage forecasts, and implement cost-saving strategies that promote profitability.

What you’ll do:

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction. Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts based on historical data and market insights. Monitor and control expenses to ensure they stay within budget and align with financial goals. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual costs with budgeted amounts and investigate discrepancies. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing overhead. Prepare regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, budget reports, and cost analysis summaries. Manage inventory costs by tracking inventory levels and resolving discrepancies. Responsible for the Celaya, Tlalnepantla y Costa Rica sites. Work on cross-cutting projects with the color sites Team management and development Management of reporting systems

What you’ll bring:

A strong background in financial analysis, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing expenses effectively. High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and cost analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills to evaluate issues and implement solutions. Strong communication skills to present financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders. A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and across departments. Advanced English
