Job Overview
Your day-to-day activities
Manage all accounting functions including financial reporting, revenue recognition, tax preparation and provision, treasury, and finance operations Oversee all general ledger accounting and financial reporting activities including consolidation of foreign subsidiaries; supervise monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Ensure timely and accurate financial statements reporting Financial analysis in support of capital investments and other key business decisions Serve as point of contact for Company’s lenders and ensure compliance with covenants, and handle all reporting requirements and requests for information Partner with the Chief Financial Officer to build a top-notch global accounting function Lead and scale the corporate accounting functions, including technical accounting and financial reporting Advise and help implement key initiatives for continuous automation improvements in the accounting ecosystem Assist in documenting and implementing controls and procedures Oversee the development and adoption of accounting policies and processes to ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards and regulations, such as US GAAP and IFRS Develop accounting operations' mid- and long-term strategy plans Invest, educate, grow, and develop teams in the accounting and financial reporting functions Partner closely with the senior leadership team, including Legal, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury, to ensure accounting alignments lead the Company through the annual external audit process with the Big 4 firm Serve as the technical accounting expert and trusted advisor to senior management maintaining current knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, relevant regulations and industry trends providing guidance, planning and direction related to all accounting matters Interpretation and research of GAAP pronouncements, development of recommendations for implementation Support acquisition and sale activities, including due diligence and purchase accounting Are You a Fit?Sounds awesome, right? Must-have Skills Graduate degree in Accounting or CPA/CPC (or equivalent) designation At least 10 years accounting and management experience including previous experience in a corporate controllership function, preferably including public companies, and audit experience Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS Familiarity with ASC606 (revenue recognition), ASC 842 (leasing), ASC 718 (equity compensation), ASC 326 (expected credit losses) Experience with translation and remeasurement Experience with consolidations and eliminations Experience with business combinations and purchase price accounting Experience with debt, equity, and convertible instruments Experience with derivatives and hedge accounting Be able to prepare a cash flow manually Experience in leading in-person, remote, and hybrid teams Experience in dealing with auditors, tax consultants, advisors etc. Experience with NetSuite implementation and systems/processes/controls improvements Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Big 4/JDAR/equivalent accounting firm experience requiredWhy You Should Apply
