My client in the Professional Services space is looking to hire a Controller for the NYC office. This position will report and work daily with the CFO and will oversee the Senior Accountant (who we placed last year) who is currently on the team. The company is looking for a very hands on individual who is responsible for overseeing the accounting & financial operations of the organization, managing financial reporting, implementing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The firm is 45 employees in the US office and 15 in the UK and plans to double in size through deliberate, measured growth over the upcoming years so ideally someone who is excited by that and at the point in their career where they would want to be a part of this type of dynamic growth. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be a part of a team and have a presence in the office and wants to be involved with leadership daily. The office is in Rockefeller Plaza and the work schedule requires you to be in the office 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with Wednesday and Friday being optional). They are offering a competitive salary of up to $150k and a lucrative bonus as well. My client is offering 5 weeks of PTO and are closed the week between Christmas & New Years so a very strong perk. Ideal candidate will have a CPA and a minimum of 8+ years in Accounting. My client is also open to considering someone who is an Accounting Manager and ready for the next step.
