The purpose of the Controlling Operations Hub Team Lead is to implement and build a high-performing and service-oriented team to drive process centralization and standardization and implement transformation projects for the Controlling Ops controlling processes, while ensuring the daily business continuity across businesses and sites.  This includes the preparation of monthly closings (OPEX & expense reviews, scorecards), project approval and tracking, and other financial planning & analysis activities on a timely basis.  This lead will need to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure all internal and external factors impacting the Global Functions area are understood, communicated, and applied in the development of financial forecasts and budgets.  They will develop partnerships with the Global Finance Business Partners as well as Budget Owners to drive results and control forecasts and budgets.

The role is part of a high performing team centered on Finance transformation and becoming a best-in-class Finance organization. 
 

Main responsibilities:
 

Service Delivery:

Accountable for efficient, high-quality closing, analysis, and reporting of Personnel cost, Opex, and GTN in EMEAEnsure cost-effective, agile service meeting customer satisfaction and KPI targetsFoster collaboration across Controlling Ops and stakeholdersApply best practices and ensure compliance with SOX standards
 

Transformation Management:

Support global transformation projects (TM1, ERP, Insights factory)Drive continuous improvement
 

People and Task Management:

Implement Core model and RACIManage team workload and performance
 

Stakeholder Management:

Support and represent service delivery teamMonitor Hub service delivery
 

Experience:

5+ years in finance controlling service delivery and management
 

Key Skills:

Change managementStrategic thinking with operational executionTeam leadership (8+ members)Stakeholder influence and partnership buildingStrong organizational and analytical skillsEthical behavior and compliance focusTechnology savvy (SAGA, multiple systems)Excellent communication
 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
 

Preferred:

MBA and/or CPAPharmaceutical and public accounting experienceCommercial Finance and Gross to NetTM1 and SAP experience
