This is a role well-suited for a well-rounded, ambitious professional looking for a challenge. As a Financial Controller for Diagnostics Business in the India Zone, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:Focus on controlling and reporting activities (P&L, Balance Sheet, FTE planning and controlling, SG&A bridges, Sales Reporting, Evaluating cost structures, and Revenue Streams).Handle special/ad hoc topics.Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.Monitor financial performance against the budget and provide variance analysis.Assist in the preparation of long-term financial plans.Internal Controls:Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Cash Management:Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity.Leadership and Team Management:Collaborate with various regions in India to gather and analyze financial information.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Strategic Planning:Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.Support strategic initiatives and business development activities.Evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Others:Develop performance benchmarks for the zone and monitor performance against these.Stay aware of trends and new digital tools that will enhance overall performance and introduce them within the zone.Support in process streamlining and automation.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA,CPA or CMA preferred.At least 7 years’ experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.Understanding of business finance terms, processes, and management.Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Highly collaborative, interacting cross-functionally with several departments of the business.Willingness to learn about new software tools and hardware solutions.Experience in a fast-paced, highly analytical, entrepreneurial environment.In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, models, and forecasts.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Very good presentation skills and superb attention to detail.Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills (i.e., Excel, Power BI, etc.).Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities.
