Job Description
You will act as the focal point for coordination of Competency & Training for the manufacturing areas. The role is dayshift based with the requirement to liaise and engage with the rotating early-late shifts and the nightshift, as necessary.
You will:
• Manage the administration of: -
o EHS Manual, Induction Manual, Basics Manual and Life Saving Rules.
• Support and facilitate the training programmes and Competency Book examinations of production operatives through the New-Starter to Multi-Skilled career path.
• Provide the maintenance & up-keep of the Training/Skills Matrix including the record of training dates, refresher re-training activity and validation along with License requirements.
• Organise and arrange third party training through coordination between the TST Stafford Shift Leaders and the Regional Operations EHS Specialist.
• For Apprentices: -
o Establish and maintain contact and an ongoing relationship with the college interfaces.
o Support the apprentices regarding their college work and maintenance & up-keep of work-based logbooks.
