Who we are looking for

State Street Global Technology Services (GTS) is seeking a skilled and proven Controls Assurance, Vice President to support a revamped controls assurance program to ensure implementation of the right level of standards and policies. This candidate should have experience delivering outcomes with operational excellence.  The candidate should have experience with company risk and controls assurance; they will work across business lines and with the second- and third-line partners to help improve our risk management standing.

What you will be responsible for

Assist with the review and enhancement of current standards to fulfill regulatory expectationsReview end-to-end processes that are operating in the GTS environment to assess effectiveness around supporting the standardsReview the control effectiveness from a process effectiveness perspectiveHelp to remediate document gaps against optimal process effectivenessSupport remediation actions or supporting strategic programs necessary to address gapsProvide regular status updates and supporting project management reports; deliver reporting for senior management

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, IT Security, Risk Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 8 - 10 years proven experience with general risk management, auditing standards, and best practices

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $185,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
