Controls Compliance Engineer

To study the Transactional compliance Plan for every project and document the list of applicable Regulations and Standards. Preparation of Compliance documents for specific projects with list of impacted items from the Compliance Matrix. Work with the suppliers to ensure that the parts / assemblies manufactured by them meet the compliance requirement of the project. Collect and compile the documents / certificates for the project and upload the central repository. Work with Design team on regular basis and initiate the improvement actions. Adopt the best practices from other business and incorporate. Schedule the meetings with other teams to ensure compliance is met.



Work Experience

BE/ ME in Electronics / Electrical Engineering with 3-7 years of experience in the product compliance with various product regulatory or certification agencies.

Should have knowledge about the necessity of international certifications like IEC, IECEx, etc and other country regulatory certification like CSA, UL, TUV, Intertek, CE marking, etc.

Basic knowledge in the various directives for the EU requirements for the CE marking.

Basic Knowledge on Low Voltage Directive, EMI/EMC, Machinery Safety Directives (MD) and Explosive Atmosphere is an added advantage.

Should have basic design Knowledge in the Power equipment’s like Gas, Steam Turbine, Generator, DCS and BOP.  Controls equipment typically includes GE Mark VIe/VIeS, LS2100e,EX2100e, HMI and Networking equipment, Cyber Security hardware and peripherals.

Provide Compliance assessment (analyze, review & support 3rd party tests) for AVL (approved vendor list) & ECR (Engineering change requests) workflows for Controls parts replacements on I/O modules and components.
