Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to lead all phases of controls projects, including concept and research, estimating support, component selection, network design, panel design, layout, device troubleshooting, PLC and HMI programming, on-site installation and debug, and after-sales support.

ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of controls projects from concept and research to implementation and support.Select components and design networks and panels.Troubleshoot devices and program PLCs and HMIs.Oversee on-site installation, debugging, and commissioning.Provide after-sales support and service.Essential SkillsProficiency in PLC programming, particularly with Allen-Bradley systems.Experience in debugging and commissioning controls systems.Knowledge of controls engineering and material handling systems.Familiarity with FactoryTalk and HMI software.Understanding of VFDs, vision systems, and material-handling equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.Experience with Rockwell Software and Compactlogix.Skills in networking, ethernet, UL508a, NEC, and NFPA standards.Experience with VFDs, servos, and sensors.Work Environment

This position requires up to 50% travel, with a typical schedule of 10 days on followed by 4 days off, though flexibility is needed. Meals are compensated with a per diem based on GSA rates for the location. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $55.00/hr.
