Robert Bosch is hiring a Controls Engineer in Florence, KY. As a Controls Engineer, you will support and enhance automation systems by troubleshooting, optimizing, and programming control systems across manufacturing lines. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Benefits of the Controls Engineer 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Short-term disability Long-term disability Paid vacation Paid holidays Opportunity for advancement On-the-job training Shift Information Wednesday–Sunday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Flexibility required to support urgent production needs Required Education and Experience Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial control systems, automation, or robotics Advanced knowledge of PLC programming with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or automation environment General Requirements Strong working knowledge of PLC programming languages Ability to independently resolve complex automation and programming issues Willingness to support production needs outside of standard working hours Essential Functions of the Controls Engineer Troubleshoot and resolve complex programming issues in control systems and automation equipment Identify and coordinate with external expertise when necessary Debug and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing line controls Design, develop, and optimize control concepts for automated equipment and systems Troubleshoot and modify robot-to-PLC interface programs Maintain, update, and improve vision inspection systems within the automation process Support maintenance teams in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues Provide hands-on training and technical guidance to maintenance personnel Stay current with new technologies, software, and hardware Execute special projects and assignments as directed by management Contact & Additional Information
