Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
The Controls Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing and developing software for industrial controls, including PLCs, machine vision systems, robotics, and other related equipment. This position requires a thorough understanding of electrical schematics and involves installation, start-up, testing, and debugging equipment at the customer's location. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation.
Responsibilities
+ Design and develop software for industrial controls, including PLCs, machine vision systems, and robotics.
+ Interpret, create, and modify electrical schematics.
+ Install, start-up, test, and debug equipment at the customer's location.
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in controls engineering and automation.
+ Proficiency in programming with C# from scratch.
+ Experience in programming PLCs and robotics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
+ Programming experience with PLCs and/or machine vision systems.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Ability to independently learn and troubleshoot problems.
+ Willingness to travel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
