Projects will involve software and/or electrical power solutions. **Day to Day Responsibilities:** + Provide electrical & controls support for the BOD (Bottom of the Draw) and mixing production processes. + Partner with the Research and Development, Application Development and Product Engineering organizations to understand the application requirements and determine needs for future systems. + Develop fundamental understanding of critical process and technical requirements, identify areas of technical risk in assigned projects, conduct prototype / feasibility testing to verify concept, and define and document system design specifications. + Actively participate in all phases of the project including design, fabrication, off-line integration and testing, installation, production start-up support, training of plant personnel, and technology transfer. + Interface with external system integrators and machine builders to successfully deliver fully integrated process equipment systems. **Required Education/Experience** : + BSEE, BSEET (minimum of 3.0 GPA) + Ability to troubleshoot difficult process problems and determine root cause through process experimentation and data analysis. + This is a functional position that requires strong technical curiosity and the desire to learn. + Rigor and detail oriented in controls/software design, development, testing and documentation. + Strong team player who takes personal ownership for their areas of responsibility. **Desired Skills:** + PLC, HMI, Motion, and Industrial Robot – Programming and configuration knowledge/interest + Controls/Electrical Experience in Manufacturing + Broad skill set (first principal design to implementation/installation) + Working knowledge of 480V and below 3 phase power systems including familiarization with National Codes (NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, etc) + Knowledgeable of electrical design and familiarization of machine standards (IEC, ANSI, RIA R15.06, etc.) **Soft Skills:** + Interdisciplinary collaboration skills + Communication skills + Technical writing + Ability to work well with others in a team environment + Self-directed and ability to create direction + Ability to manage multiple tasks **This position does not support immigration sponsorship.** The range for this position is $68,419.00 - $94,077.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
