Assembled a Torque Observer model for an induction motor, which is novel to the auto industry, using Simulink that met ASIL C compliance guidelines for an Electric Vehicle applicationPlanned and developed test protocols which were presented to collaborating teams to gather data for the power loss of an EDUCreated High Voltage battery models that were integrated into NI Veri Stand (SW test to validate hardware)Remodeled existing MATLAB and Simulink models to eliminate warnings and errors using Poly space bug finder and code proverDemonstrated great levels of presentation and teamwork skillsResponsible for documenting, analyzing and conducting testing procedures on a dynamometer for an electric drive unit using Vector CANape and CANoeLearned about EDU design, architecture, and requirements for testing on dynamometersExtracted data and conducted tests to populate the Yokogawa (physical limits of the applications)Assisted with calibrating EDU’s to output the correct amount of torque requestedCreated MATLAB scripts to automate data extraction to improve efficiency with Microsoft ExcelAssisted customers by answering questions on vehicle preference based on price, performance, etc.Connected the customer to nearest dealer with car that fits their needs and wants Communicated with teams to ensure compliance with customer deadlinesCreated a program that allowed the project workflow to update synchronously across teamsExperienced all phases of a project including award, design, test, and launchShould be familiar with the model of the PLC involved in taking the measurements on all types of gages & the labels for the registers on that PLC for each of the measurements.Expertise in writing the logics so that it would grab the data from the probes and flip a signal bit to let IT application engineer know when the reading was finalized. Application engineer would then take the reading & zero out that bit, which let control engineer’s side know it was ok to take the next measurement.Should be familiar with AIAG’s MSA (Measurement System Analysis)Ability to troubleshoot & take lead on all Fixture/Bench & in-process 100% auto gages related daily issues.Solid Knowledge & understanding of gaging software’s like Sterling Promeasure “Gage Express”.Ability to assemble all types of gages along with Solartron probes & write programs for new bench/Fixture gages if needed.
