Controls Engineer
Description The controls engineer will be responsible for controls projects from cradle to grave. Responsibilities include: - Interface with customers throughout the Quad Cities and surrounding areas to gather information on specifications and requirements for design and implementation of control systems - Assist with specification of parts and estimates for equipment - Perform PLC programming from scratch, instrumentation calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting - Perform onsite installation and startup for control systems within a 100-mile radius of the Quad Cities - Perform onsite customer support, including modifying and troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs to ensure proper functionality Skills allen-bradley, plc programming, plc troubleshooting, process control, controls engineering, hmi programming, allen bradley control logix, scada, rockwell automation arena, automation Top Skills Details allen-bradley Additional Skills & Qualifications REQUIRED: - Associates degree + 2 years of experience with PLC programming using Allen Bradley - Ability to interface with customers in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius of Davenport, IA to support customers PREFERRED: - Bachelors degree in engineering + 5 years of experience with PLC programming using Allen Bradley - Previous experience at an integrator or in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
