Job Description
Design and develop control panels for various applications, considering safety standards, functionality, and ease of maintenance. Ensure compliance with electrical code and UL standards, particularly UL508a.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop control panels with a focus on safety, functionality, and maintenance.Select appropriate electrical components such as switches, relays, and sensors based on system requirements.Integrate electrical components into larger systems to ensure seamless operation and compatibility.Choose suitable gauges, relays, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and circuits for specific applications.Essential SkillsExperience with UL508a panel design.Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.Proficiency in selecting electrical components for industrial machinery.5+ years of experience in electrical design of control panels/industrial manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsPLC programming.Degrees accepted: ASEE, ASEET, BET, BSE.Work Environment
A mix of manufacturing floor and desk work with a business casual dress code. Work hours are from 8am to 5pm. The team consists of roughly 6 engineers, including technicians, field service, and sales engineers. Opportunities to develop and manage custom control projects in a collaborative small team environment with a strong culture.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $63.00
