Description Actalent engineering is looking for a Controls Engineer 4. This position will design, develop, install, an dmaintain equipment that is used to monitor and control engineering systems and processes. A bachelors degree in Engineering, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical is highly preferred with 8-10 years of experience. They will workside along a team of 5-8 engineers and report to the engineering manager. The work environment is hybrid and onsite at the manufacturing facility in Alpharetta. The reason this position is open is because they are needing an additional controls engineer for their team. Skills Plc programming, PLC Testing, commisioning, control systems, plc controllers, drawings, BOM, Controls engineering, NEC, UL, UL MV, CSA, ANSI Top Skills Details Plc programming,PLC Testing,commisioning,control systems,plc controllers,drawings,BOM,Controls engineering Additional Skills & Qualifications - Execute and support the design, test, manufacture, and commissioning of low and medium voltage switchgear that controls multiple generators which parallel to one or more utility sources - Provide direction to CAD designers to create wiring and assembly drawings for generator paralleling switchgear controls - Interact with internal and external customers, accomplishing project milestones - Create bill of materials for generator paralleling switchgear controls in ERP system - Create PLC programs for control of generator paralleling switchgear - Execute multiple projects simultaneously Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.
