International Big Bore Diesel of Alabama is seeking a Senior Lead Controls Engineer to interface with engineers and equipment OEM's in the design and construction of a plant expansion project.

Responsibilities include design and implementation of controls systems, network, and power distribution for new machining lines. The position will initially provide support for OEM's and International's Operations, and will lead Level 1 and 2 control system selection, integration, and implementation. The position will have a supporting role on Level 3 control systems.

Responsibilities Evaluates, selects, and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.Oversees the development, installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.Studies equipment performance and reliability.Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 8 years of product manufacturing experienceAt least 1 year of lead experience

Master’s degreeAt least 6 years of product manufacturing experienceAt least 1 year of lead experience 

OR

At least 10 years of product manufacturing experienceAt least 1 year of lead experience  Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
