About the Role

 

We are searching for an experienced Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer to perform the duties described below at our plant in Spartanburg SC USA.

Your Responsibilities

 

Diagnose and resolve causes of HMI/PLC malfunctions and support maintenance in the event of electrical and mechanical faults on all equipment. Assist the maintenance department in installing new electronic/electrical control equipment and making it operational. Provide training for the maintenance department on the operation and diagnostics of the machine controls and motor controllers. Develop programming and provide support for Programmable Logic Controllers and Panel Visualization to maximize both quality and production. Improve human machine interfaces. Implement quality improvements. Who we are looking for

 

PLC and HMI design from the scratch. Programming Siemens TIA Portal specially S71500 PLC. Design and programming HMI visualization in TIA Portal. Implement and change Profinet devices and other network devices. Programming skills in SCL, STL as well LAD and FBD Programming of TCP/IP communication between PLC and PC or third-party devices. Basic skill in SQL coding. Your preferred qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 3 years of experience or a High School diploma with at least 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer or a combination of education and experience What we offer
