Controls Engineering Intern
In this role, you will support an engineering team in building and testing standard logistics system building blocks for usage globally by the operations organization. You will work as part of a cross-functional team of highly experienced mechanical, controls, and contract engineers. These building blocks will provide for a backbone of all standard offerings. Dematic’s global solution development and project execution organizations will configure and reuse the building blocks in a flexible way to rapidly deploy customer solutions.

The hourly pay range for this role is estimated to be $19-23 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do in This Role:

Support controls engineering of standard modules and solutions for repeated use by Dematic's organizations.Support controls engineering activities and commissioning in Dematic's innovative solution center.Tasks may include: generating controls description of operation, controls layouts, drawings, emulation models, SCADA, PLC software, and documentation.Provide feedback on challenges and recommendations for process, tool, and product improvements to drive organizational efficiencies and outstanding customer offerings.
