Controls Engineering Specialist

In this position... 
Use Vis Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, review and follow up automation projects and installations

You'll have... 

High school diploma or GED2 or more years of Controls Engineering experience (internship and coop experience will be considered)


Even better, you may have...

Bachelors DegreeElectrical background (electrician or technician) preferredFamiliar with PLC/CNC (Siemens/ Allen-Bradley), VFD, Servo, Profinet, ABB and FANUC RobotsSolid understanding of laser burningDemonstrated ability to read blueprints, modify electrical schematics, and use AutoCADValidated ability to troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate for process improvementsExperience with conveyor system programming and overhead GantrySolid understanding of networking to include DH+, Ethernet, and remote IOLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experienceLean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping experienceUnderstanding of 8D, FMEA, and DMAIC processesFamiliar with TQM and Kaizen methodsOne or more years of experience with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)Knowledge of simulation modeling and visual factory management preferred
