Your responsibilities will include

Allen Bradley PLC's, Variable Frequency Drives, and safety equipment installation and troubleshooting

Allen Bradley HMI programming 

Fanuc robot programming and troubleshooting 

Machine controls troubleshooting and repairs

Analyze and react to daily results (FPY, AY, CAL, scrap)

Maintain a safe and organized work area, ensuring unsafe conditions and actions are addressed or relayed to the proper help chain

Engage in honest, open and factual communications in a professional manner

Create and maintain quality/equipment standards in their respective area

Organize and lead cross functional teams through kaizens in their respective areas (Quick, Standard, and Major). Present kaizens as needed

Lead WCM activities in area

Teach WCM tools to cross-functional groups 

Develop project teams as needed to deliver projects in their respective area

Perform audits as assigned and address identified gaps

Other duties as assigned

Minimum requirements

Associate’s Degree in engineering related field (or in progress)

Ability to work autonomously in all aspects of the function

Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize issues and tasks

Ability to do root cause problem solving

Ability to make decisions under pressure

Willingness to be hands on

Strong interpersonal & communication skills

Have a strong desire for personal and professional development

Consistently demonstrates the Whirlpool Values

Preferred skills and experiences

Experience with electronics, robotics, and/or electrical equipment  

Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs

Knowledge of Fanuc robot

Previous programming experience 

1+ year manufacturing experience

WCM (World Class Manufacturing) tool usage and knowledge

Drafting software experience (AutoCAD or equivalent)

Blueprint reading

Strong computer skills including data analysis and chart creation
