Controls Manufacturing Engineer
MAU is hiring a Controls Manufacturing Engineer for Bosch in Charleston, SC. As a Controls Manufacturing Engineer, you will oversee the daily operation of fully automated, high-speed manufacturing assembly lines, leading software development, PLC programming, and IT infrastructure projects. You'll also create and maintain process documentation, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement in safety, cost, quality, and performance to meet company objectives. Essential Functions Support daily operations of 11 fully automated manufacturing assembly lines in MOE2 with 1-second cycle times Lead projects in software development, PLC programming, and IT infrastructure implementation Serve as the primary Controls/Process Engineer for multiple 1-second cycle assembly lines Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans, including process flow diagrams, PQIs, process control documentation, and standard work instructions, in line with company standards Identify and resolve quality issues related to automated equipment Lead initiatives to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization of manufacturing processes to meet Policy Deployment goals Actively manage daily area performance using analytics and data to achieve targets and implement continuous improvement measures to meet KPIs Provide occasional technical support during night/weekends as a subject matter expert for extended downtime situations, remotely or on-site as required Travel Willing and able to travel, including internationally, for training, project work, and IPN-related activities #PS
