ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review construction planning and bidding reports for sales opportunities. Review existing account activity for sales opportunities Enter sales opportunities into Project Tracking System. Attend pre-bid meetings for estimation details as required. Perform site surveys as required for estimation details. Acquire plans and specifications for estimation details. Accurately review all construction documents to prepare estimates. Request bonds for projects as required. Prepare project estimates, proposals, and bids. Review estimates and proposals with Department Heads for scope and Gross Margin. Qualify and new customer’s financial standing and payment history with Controller. Book sold jobs in ProCore and attend turnover meeting. Price change orders, bulletins, cost events, etc. as required. Support Project Team on Sales scope clarifications. Develop sale log with competitor pricing on jobs (won and lost) in BidTracer. Make additions and modifications to the estimation database. Assist with collections on sold jobs, as needed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to hand and prioritize multiple, concurring tasks while working to meet deadlines.PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Engineering or Technology Degree is required. In Lieu of degree, a minimum of 10 years applicable industry experience may be considered. General Sales experience is required, with Service Sales in Mechanical and Automation strongly considered. Estimating experience, especially pertaining to Automation, Electrical, Pneumatic, or Mechanical, is required.COMPUTER SKILLS
Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Work, Excel, etc.) Familiarity with Estimation database software is desired. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn multiple Automation system products lines, including but not limited to Automation Logic, Honeywell, Johnson, and Carrier.REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES

Job duties will be primarily limited to the Lexington and Louisville markets; however, out-of-town travel may occasionally be required.
