Job Description

YOUR ROLE:  The Controls Technician must act as a safety champion in the Butler Manufacturing Operations and drive safety improvements daily through the following actions:

Participate in incident investigations and resolutionsDevelop process improvements with a “safety first” attitudeImmediately address any potential safety issues with the appropriate personnelReview and evaluate ergonomic and safety concerns and risks for all activities and projects

Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:   

 2+ years Controls ExperienceAbility to read blueprints and machine control schematicsAbility to navigate via PLC operation sequence, I/O information, and instrumentation feedbackAbility to work independently as well as part of a groupPrevious experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Allen Bradley PLC control systems
