Job Description/ResponsibilitiesBuffalo Trace Distillery is seeking applicants for Controls Technician to join our team in Frankfort, KY, this is a night shift position, with a starting salary of $32.77 per hour.
Primary responsibilities include (however may not be limited to):
Skilled performance of all plant electrical duties including PLC & MCC installation and maintenanceEnsure PLCs, robots, and any additional automation is functioning as expectedRead electrical schematicsPossess ability to install, trouble-shoot and maintain conduit wire, motors and electrical equipment on 240-volt, 3 phase and 440-volt systemsAbility to install variable speed drives and troubleshoot electronic control systems including electric eyes and relaysAbility to program A.B. programmable logic controls.Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, clean and maintain machinery, equipment, fixtures, piping and plumbing systems, etc. Read blueprints, manuals, drawings, computer screens, sketches and/or oral instructions Qualifications/RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in industrial automationA record of successful maintenance experience with a mastery of skills needed to perform everyday maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing facilityHands-on experience with electrical, PLC programming and hardware, and equipment troubleshootingAbility/Willingness to work second or third shiftSuccessful candidates will be required to receive acceptable scores on several tests including mechanical and electrical aptitude exams, pre-employment physical, and drug/alcohol screeningMust demonstrate a high level of initiative and problem solving abilitiesDetail-oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracyAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and ladder logicAbility to operate industrial equipment.Good communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent safety and attendance recordsHigh School diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:
