Controls Technician
Job Title: Technical Resource for OT Engineering TeamJob Description We are seeking a skilled technical resource to join our OT Engineering team, focusing on automation and controls devices and systems. In this role, you will perform basic programming edits, software updates, and contribute to driving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) initiatives. Responsibilities + Perform basic programming edits and software updates. + Assist in driving OEE initiatives. + Troubleshoot automation and controls systems. + Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and Drives. + Execute simple logic for data collection. + Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance system performance. Essential Skills + Experience in troubleshooting automation and controls systems. + Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting. + Knowledge of HMI and Drives. + Ability to perform simple logic for data collection. + Associate's degree in automation/controls. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Background in electrical automation and programming. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Work Environment The position is located in Columbus, NE, approximately 40 minutes from Fremont, NE, and 1 hour from Elkhorn, NE. The facility is clean, well-lit, and highly automated, producing medical device products. Some parts of the building date back to the 1960s with several expansions over the years. The office space is updated with the latest technology for collaboration and features individual cubicles. The dress code is casual, with polo shirts, jeans, and tennis shoes acceptable.
