Now is the time to define your future, and ours too. _This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship._ **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Troubleshooting complex drive systems (mechanical and electrical), PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, VFD's, HMI's, vision systems, X-ray, and power distribution systems. Program, Service, Installation, loop tuning, calibration, development, implementation, repair and maintenance of communication network, instrumentation, control, safety and electrical systems. + Will be required to assist Engineering, Instrumentation, Calibration, Multi-craft and Cereal Technicians as required and other duties as assigned. Will use and maintain technical documents. (Equipment manuals, MSDS, instrument database, system drawings, Process and Instrument diagrams, PID’s, schematics, one line diagrams, using the MOC process.) + Will support Projects by participating in the development project scopes, design, and functional specifications. Perform design reviews, factory acceptance testing, system start-ups and operational checks of systems, including NEC and Safety compliance, configuration, wiring, grounding and power quality testing. Specify, organize and maintain adequate spare parts for control and instrumentation systems. Work requires close attention to detail and work pace is generally well above normal with frequent problems keeping up with the work pace. + Must complete all paperwork/checks as necessary including creating work orders, creating breakdown work orders, checking tasks, entering time and completing work orders in SAP. + Employee must maintain housekeeping in his/her area, sweeping area, cleaning tools and shop equipment as needed. Communicate and properly hand off “breakdown” work to on-coming shift, clean and put tools away. Attend training for equipment, system, operations, and maintenance with intent of becoming a subject matter expert. Train and mentor peers, in all new technologies. In addition to high school diploma or GED, 2-year trade school preferred. Specialized training such as apprenticeship in trade or technical courses. Additional training beyond high school graduation is preferred. Completing training as needed to obtain and maintain ISA certification is preferred. Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization. Effective reading, writing, communication and computer skills. Shall be proficient with troubleshooting and repairing PLC, HMI, X-ray, Communications, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Safety and Vision systems Requires 3 years' experience in Industrial Electricity as well as 3 years combined experience with instrumentation and programmable controllers, 3 years' experience in electrical drive systems. 2 years of electrical/electronic training or apprenticeship (preferred). Requires 3 years' experience in mechanical drives systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems with emphasis on trouble shooting. PLC, HMI, X-ray, Vision, communication, WWTP, Boilers and Refrigeration Thermal process systems, VFD, Servo, Motor control systems. Calibrate electrical equipment and instruments Read electrical schematics and blue-prints Excellent knowledge of industrial electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics Excellent knowledge of drive systems electrical and mechanical Knowledge of welding and fabrication Excellent knowledge of computer and computer skills Attention to detail Reading/writing comprehension Initiative/Self-directed Task Management It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.
