Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Controls Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and electrical knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience and will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance checks on corrugating machines and other equipment. This role requires proficiency in reading electrical schematics and understanding of 3-phase motors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatics.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance checks on corrugating machines.Work as a troubleshooter and part of a preventive maintenance team.Understand and work with 3-phase motors, hydraulic systems, and schematics.Read and interpret electrical schematics proficiently.Use volt meter for troubleshooting and repairs.Troubleshoot and repair breakers and compressors.Work with rotary machinery, cylinder machines, mechanical machines, and newer automated machines with PLC.Perform troubleshooting and PM on production machinery.Essential SkillsAt least 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience.Strong mechanical aptitude.Electrical knowledge.Understanding of 3-phase motors, hydraulic systems, and schematics.Proficiency in reading electrical schematics.Understanding of pneumatics.Experience with volt meters.Troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPLC experience is a plus.
Pay: 33.64 an hour

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, Florida.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.55 - $31.55/hr.
