We are seeking a 1LoD Control Testing Quality Assurance and Operations Associate Specialist to join our newly established Centralized 1LoD Control Testing function (1LoD Testing). This 1LOD Testing team aims to standardize and enhance our control testing practices across all Business Units and Corporate Functions.

As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting risk management activities across the organization. In this role, reporting into the Director of Quality Assurance & Operations, you will collaborate closely with partners across NTC’s global operations.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

Assist in the maintenance, socialization and implementation of 1LOD testing standards, methodologies and templates.Execute controls testing quality assurance to ensure that all testing is conducted in accordance with these standards and that any deviations are promptly addressed.Assist in developing and maintaining an integrated testing calendar that outlines all planned testing activitiesWorking closely with the Training team, develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all team members are fully aware of new or updated standards and procedures.Prepare QA results reports on test results, issues, and other relevant information.

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

Bachelor's degree7+ years of experience with various types of testing experience, preferably in a Global Systemically Important Bank (GSIB) or similar financial institution.Great communication and facility skills with the ability to teach/train, etc.Ability to establish trust-based relationships with stakeholders across enterpriseStrong understanding of risk management principles and practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong data visualization skillsSelf-motivated with strong collaboration and influencing skillsAbility manage multiple tasks and competing priorities and meet deadline

Salary Range:

$95,600 - 162,400 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
