JOB OPPORTUNITY Position Information Location New Westminster/Coquitlam Campus Salary Range $26.86 to $29.53 per hour. Salary scale and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement. Your written and verbal fluency in English and French is instrumental in helping students learn, practice, and engage in active French conversation. A demonstrated ability to: speak French fluently initiate and conduct conversations in French and encourage the participation of students. follow the course materials as provided. produce and maintain accurate documentation. organize workflow to ensure that deadlines are met while working with considerable independence. establish and maintain effective working relationships. provide efficient, client-centred service in person, in writing, and over the telephone with the College community and outside agencies.

The position is located at both the New Westminster campus and at the Coquitlam campus. Hours of work are generally between 8:30 AM and 8 PM, and shifts may be scheduled Monday to Friday as per the lab schedules set each semester. Scheduled hours range between 4 hours to 7 hours per day, depending on the assignment. The number of hours per semester differ based on course offerings and demand. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department’s need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work and overtime may be required. For the Summer 2025 semester we anticipate shifts available on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:30-4:30PM, from May 9 to June 26.
