**Summary:** Meet the TeamThe Global People Operations team aims to create and deliver a seamless and efficient experience across the employee lifecycle. Within People Ops is the HR Tech team, which focuses primarily on facilitating optimal solutions across the internal information ecosystem. HR Tech is a multidisciplinary team of experts spanning content strategy, enterprise content management, system & solution design, enterprise architecture, and data & analytics. This team partners most closely with Engineering, product managers, content designers, user experience researchers, and teams that represent various operational processes and programs across the HR business.The Ideal CandidateThis role is for a Conversational Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing specialist, an autonomous individual contributor that will support delivering internal AI products and services for Global People Operations functions.We’re looking for experience with:- Domain knowledge of conversational AI, especially as it pertains to compassionate customer support, workflow integration opportunities, and scalable self-service. - Outstanding skills in statistical analysis, machine learning methods and text representation techniques. - Experience collaborating across business stakeholders and engineering partners to scope, design, test, and deliver world-class AI solutions. **Required Skills:** Conversational AI & NLP Specialist Responsibilities: 1. Research and share industry best practices and cutting edge approaches to elevate conversational AI beyond traditional “HR” practices 2. Use NLP techniques to transform natural language data that feeds classification algorithms 3. Collaborate with engineers and applied research scientists to deliver efficient algorithms and robust systems that scale to support global Meta employees 4. Understand how data from API calls, databases, and other technologies fit into design, and collaborate with developers on implementing solutions 5. Develop the technical direction for conversational assistants for Meta’s People teams, making connection with other areas of the company to develop standards 6. Translate high-level business requirements into detailed system-level and functional requirements for technical implementation 7. Create and refine thorough, accurate flow diagrams and other related documentation to communicate the behavior of a complete conversational system 8. Contribute to requirements gathering, user stories, estimates, and roadmapping 9. When needed, design and lead different types of testing (A/B, focus groups, usability testing, QA), synthesize results, and iterate based on results to ensure customer-centric and highly usable products 10. Educate colleagues and stakeholders so the entire team understands key tenets of conversation designs 11. Contribute to the development of proof of concepts and/or pilots while working with Cross Functional Partner partners 12. Think beyond individual design and project requirements to see the bigger picture – how your work ties into the larger ecosystem and platform strategy agile 13. Collaborate and build rapport with design, product, data and tech partners in an environment **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 14. Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience. 15. 5+ years of experience solving problems with Conversational AI in an academic or professional setting 16. A track record of applying strategy, user-centered approaches and insights to your work 17. Experience in to creating and evolving concepts in a collaborative environment through team and stakeholder reviews and can bring new ideas to the table 18. A knowledge of design principles, standards and User Experience best practices **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 19. Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent experience 20.
