THE JOB:

It is the Conversion Lead responsibility to facilitate the day-to-day conversion to ensure accurate and timely completion of conversions between events.

This is an on-call opportunity – hours vary upon event frequency, including weekends & holidays.

THE STARTING RATE:

$19/hour

THE DAY TO DAY:

Prepare ice by removing debris, checking ice depth, scraping, edging, and resurfacing ice.Work hockey games and other ice events as needed.Participate in set-up and disassembly of hockey glass, dasher boards, locker rooms and other event related equipment as needed.Perform cleaning and maintenance on ice operations equipment, keep work areas and equipment organized and functional.Operate and maintain Zamboni machines, ice edger and all related equipment for the installation and maintenance of a quality sheet of ice.Install, repair, and remove dashers as necessary.Set and strike staging which may include risers, chairs, bleachers, house drapes, carpeting, portable flooring, hockey dashers, ice making, boxing rings, etc.Store equipment in pre-designated areas; perform minor maintenance on equipment used for setting and striking eventsOperate company vehicle and any mobile equipment related to arena operationsPerform administrative duties related to event productionsWork along Conversion Tech II staff on all other conversion related duties

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
