What you do:
Under general supervision, responsible for collaborating with business leaders, key stakeholders, and business unit control consultants to develop, enhance and implement data-driven methodologies and processes to identify, assess, and improve risk and control management across the COO. Collaborates with second and third lines of defense (Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, & Internal Audit) to align on scalable risk management methodologies based on business data & analytics. May partner with more senior consultants on complex and/or large-scale initiatives.
A successful candidate will have background in:
Participate in developing and maintaining COO risk management framework (e.g., policies, procedures, standards, and technology). Partner with assigned business area(s) to provide day-to-day consultation on risk management and controls practices and control effectiveness. Coordinate with business unit control consultants and personnel on efficient execution of risk and control activities. Provide ongoing reporting and data analysis in support of the risk management framework. Contribute to reviews and discussions with business leaders regarding findings, data trends, and areas for improvement. Participate in developing and delivering risk and controls related training; provide coaching and mentoring to business unit control consultants and other personnel as needed. Provide consultative support to assist with gap closure and key risk projects.
What you bring:
2-3 years of experience required in Operations, Business Analytics, Insurance/Financial services experience and/or relevant technical experience; strong analytical skills; knowledge of basic project management practices and risk management methodology. Four-year degree required, Bachelor's degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship. Salary Range: $67,000 - $134,000
