Job Description:
Cross trained for both shifts
First Shift: 530 – 1400
Second Shift: 930 – 1800
Fulltime 40 hours weekly
Cooks, prepares, presents, and serves food items. Ensures that food is prepared in a manner, which is nutritious, safe, properly flavored and in compliance with sanitation and safety requirements, and accrediting agency standards for quality
Essential Duties:
·Communicates and coordinates daily with Food Service Supervisor/ Manager on strategies to accomplish production and maintain quality standards.Cooks and prepares various entrees, vegetables, sandwiches, and other menu items using standardized recipes.·Offers and serves correct portions to comply with patient diets.Assists in the cooking, preparation and service of food for special events when required.Checks foods for taste and temperature.Replenishes food items as needed.Prepares needed foods for next day’s production.Preferred Requirements
High School /GEDOne to three months experienceFood Handler card or Servsafte certificationBenefits:
