Responsibilities: Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. Plan weekly menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of children. Collaborate with staff to accommodate special dietary restrictions and allergies. Monitor inventory and order supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Engage with children during mealtimes to promote healthy eating habits. Assist in training and supervising kitchen staff as needed. Participate in special events and activities to enhance the culinary experience. Requirements: Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role, preferably in a childcare or educational setting. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to create balanced menus that meet nutritional standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
