CentraCare Monticello Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our culinary team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors in accordance with dietary guidelines and food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
Ensure quality food service is provided at all times. Adhere to dietary restrictions and special dietary needs of patients, as directed by healthcare providers and dietitians. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including proper food storage, handling, and disposal procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety Wash dishes, clean pots, pans, and utensils in work area.Schedule
48 hours every two weeks 8 hour shift between 10:30am-7:30pm, variable days during the week Every other weekend and rotating holidays.Pay and Benefits
Starting at $18.37 per hour however we pay more for experience. Benefit eligible!Qualifications
Basic computer knowledge Ability to work in a team environment and/or work independently as needed. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and verbal skills.
