The Cook is responsible for preparing and assisting in the service of all meals to clients and staff within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Able to read, write, and understand English. Prior cooking experience. Able to work with children. Flexible schedule depending on departmental needs. Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.

JOB DUTIES:

Comply with policies on dress code and cell phone use at work. Hot and cold food preparation. Work with basic standardized recipe system. Follow daily cycle menu and production worksheets to include special diets and recording of daily food usage. Overall sanitation and general cleaning of serving areas. Involvement in portion planning and recipe development. Pulling stock from freezer for future preparation.
