Lakeside Hospital a collaboration between CHI St. Luke’s Health and a team of specialized physicians— focused on cardiology and interventional cardiology sports medicine orthopedics including total joint replacement and spine care—in The Woodlands community. As the only hospital in Montgomery County to offer sports medicine as a major service line Lakeside Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care including diagnostic imaging including MRI CT and nuclear medicine.
As a Cook, you will prepare food for our patients, staff, and visitors, following safe cooking techniques. You will take pride and have a passion for cooking for those who cannot cook for themselves. You understand that most guests at our facility dine with us for a reason, and take great pride in giving them one less thing to worry about.
To be successful as a Cook, you should be able to use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet our customers’ expectations. Ultimately, a top-notch cook should be able to handle multiple food orders without compromising on quality.

Responsibilities
Prepares food for patients, staff, and visitors of the healthcare facility following safe cooking techniques.Supports quality control measures such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency. Maintains kitchen area to state required sanitary standards.Completes all tasks on duty while adhering to safety standards and policies of the hospital.
Qualifications
Two (2) years Food Service experience.High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Food Handlers Permit is required as outlined below:
