Job Overview:

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food according to planned menu. They must always demonstrate adherence to food storage guidelines. The Cook is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School diploma Experience in high production food service

Preferred:

3-5 years grill/high volume experience

Scheduling Requirements:

Rotating weekends and holidaysPer Diem

Essential Functions:

Follows all recipes to conform with dietary restrictionsFollows correct procedure for handling raw / cooked products according to sanitary guidelinesFollows dress code policy for departmentFollows sanitary guidelines for personal hygieneMaintains proper production schedule to ensure food is ready in a timely mannerPerforms sanitation duties as assignedPrepares food according to planned menuProperly stores all prepared foods utilizing the FIFO system at all times
