Overview As a Cook 1, 2, or 3, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. You'll work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the timely and high-quality production of menu items. This position requires basic culinary skills and a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field. Compensation is $17 to $21 an hour plus tips, depending on experience. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats. Follow recipes and cooking techniques to produce consistent and high-quality dishes. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas. Assist in receiving and storing food supplies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Basic knife skills and safety Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff. Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets Guest-oriented and service-minded Culinary school diploma preferred.
