Overtime may be expected from time to time. The Cook works closely with the Chef and Food Service Manager providing meal preparation as instructed by the Chef and Food Service Manager. Responsibilities: + Heat, cook, and serve food items that the chef has prepared, or has instructed how to prepare/cook. + Maintain (clean, sanitize, organization, stock) the café and kitchen spaces daily. + Provide clients with the highest level of customer service + Maintain Security of the Café and kitchen spaces. + Assigned to work in areas where demand is required. Qualifications Qualifications: + Significant experience in a food service setting. + A friendly and welcoming persona that sends a message of caring, customer service, patience and professionalism. + A desire to serve. + Attention to detail. + Willingness to go above and beyond + A notable work ethic. + Able to work occasional nights and weekends Essential Job Qualifications: + Ability to lift  pounds without assistance. + Able to provide crisis intervention including physical restraints. Restraints may include resistive force, bending, squatting, kneeling, lying down, and holding youth in order to maintain safety. + Ability to sit, squat, crouch, and stand for elongated periods of time + Ability to lift arms overhead in upward reaching motion + Ability to walk up and downstairs up to several times per day.
