Job Title: Part-Time Cook (20 Hours/Week)
Location: Westminster Towers, Kenner, Louisiana

Essential Functions:

Prepare meals using standardized recipes and portion controls.

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure food safety.

Supervise dietary aides in the absence of management.

Record meal temperatures and maintain daily census records.

Assist in training new dietary staff.

Ensure timely meal preparation and accuracy of special diets.

Expectations:

Maintain a professional and positive attitude.

Adhere to all organizational policies and compliance standards.

Provide respectful and dignified care for residents.

Complete required training and education annually.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 1-2 years as a dietary aide or cook preferred.

Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to kitchen conditions
