Position Overview: Under the direction of the Ladore Catering Manager, be able to prepare meals for groups of 20-200. Responsibilities Duties: + Perform food service responsibilities as directed by the Ladore Catering Manager + Maintain food safety standards as prescribe by ServSafe + Operate equipment safely and properly + Maintain neat and uniform appearance at all times + Prepare and cook meals for groups in house + Keep food prep and cooking areas neat and clean + Other related duties assigned by the Ladore Catering Manager Qualifications Requirements: + High School Diploma or GED + Be able to lift at least 50 pounds + Must pass a ServSafe class which will be offered by the Salvation Army + Ability to handle a high paced and often intense work environment + Must be good with people + Food service experience with large groups + Ability to be on one’s feet for hours at a time + Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks prior to employment: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.
